Hello Monday...

Good Morning,
Hope you all had a good weekend. I am working 3 days then off the next 10 days cant wait. I still have all my baking to do as I have been putting it off until the very end. The weather here has been cold and sunny, cold and very wet, and cold and foggy but I will take all 3 as it is this time of year and I want it to feel like winter any way I can get it...I have been crafting some . I am not done with my Christmas shopping yet I am almost there but not quite. We had our EGA Christmas party and it was a success and everyone enjoyed it..here are some pictures of the finished items as we have a chapter challenge every year as our main fund raiser..enjoy the pictures.

And for my crafting that I have been doing..I finished 1 sock. In the Dragqueen colorway by Leadingmenfiberartz. And I am hoping to cast on the other one this week. This is the first time using this yarn and I love it. 

And for the cross stitching part you know I have been doing some of that..here is a finish and a fully finished item..I really have been enjoying stitching these little guys. This is my 3rd one and I see many more in the coming years.

Happy Wednesday

I hope this day finds you all well. It is my Friday and I have a busy weekend ahead of me. Thursday night I go to a knit/stitch night with good friends 😊and then Friday starts my cookie baking session.
And then Saturday I have our EGA lunch and Christmas party to go to and I am so looking forward to it..And Sunday is more baking so I'm looking forward to it to start..we will see how much baking I get done 😊. The weather here has turned sunny but chilly which is fine with me as I like cold weather this time of year. Well we put up our decorations last weekend so here are some pictures for you to enjoy. I finally have enough stitched ornament to have a tree just for them and that is the first picture..Till next time stay well my friends....

A long time

Hi All I'm back and hoping to stay for awhile. If you are still following me thank you. It is Dec 3 2018 and a very rainy stormy day here in NE Florida. So what have I been up to? A little knitting and a lot of stitching..here are some pictures to show you.

This is going to be a pair of vanilla socks knit up in my new favorite colorway Dragqueen by Leadingmenfiberarts..I love it so much I ordered 2 more skeins of it.

And these sweet pair is done in the blueberry waffle pattern and knitted in WYS yarn from Iredland..

And the last pair is knit in Knitpicks felici yarn and in the Hermiones everyday sock pattern. All these patterns you can get off of Ravelry. Now on to the stitching.

And here are the first batch of ornaments I finish, they are of prairie schooler and little house needleworks.

I know its been a couple of weeks,,but I am still here. Lost my charger cable for my laptop and had to buy another one. But I am back in business. The weather here in NE Florida has turned to spring like and I am loving it, spring has come to Lowe's which means I can start planting flowers. I have been stitching like crazy and not so much knitting.  I have a few finishes and a new start to show and I am loving my new start. It is Thirteen Black Eye Susan's by Brenda Gervais and I don't know why I don't stitch more Halloween things as I was born on Friday 13th in October and I was my moms first girl. So you will be seeing more Halloween things coming to the blog..Well I hope you all have a good week and I will be hopefully posting some updates. But for now enjoy these pictures. Well the sun is finally shining in NE Florida and I have today off so I thought I would put up a blog post. I haven't been up to much except stitching and more stitching..I haven't been anywhere because it seems to want to rain every weekend..Monday was our 35th wedding anniversary so on Sunday my hubby and I went and saw Jumanji and it was really good we both enjoyed it..and then went to dinner at Lonehorn Steak House and had a enjoyable time. I am really looking forward to spring to be able to plant new flowers and get my hands dirty..who else is ready for spring? Well its going to be a short one but I will leave you with some stitchy pictures..have a great week everyone.

I'm Back

Oh how it is good to be back, my laptop has been down for over a year. My wonderful hubby got it up and running again. I am getting back into reading blogs again. And posting on mine. This past year all I did was knit, I learned how to make socks and so that is my go to thing to knit now..and also fingerless mitts and hats. But that came to a stop right before the new year, when my stitching mojo came back with a force. I still have a couple of knitting projects I have to finish up but my stitching is taking over. I have had 1 finish for a wip and 3 start to finish all in the month of January. So not a bad start..If you want to follow me on Instagram I am Devonfl and on facebook I am Devon Hanna.
