A quick drop in post...

Thank you all for all the sweet comments on my projects, and for my health issues. I wanted to let you all know there is no Cancer at all and more then likely I will never get cervical cancer. They took 3 biopsies and all of them came back with zip nothing.  I have to go back in 6 months to check the 2 spots to see if the antibiotics took care of them and if not see if we should remove them, they said it came back as inflammation/infection so I am on a yeast infection pill and a general
 antibiotic.
I have been stitching on my cowboy picture and it is coming out real cute,,don't forget about my giveaway that ends this Friday...hope you all are having a great week,,till next  time sending hugg

Still Plugging along..

Cant believe its been almost 2 weeks since my last post..I really haven't been doing much..the weather here is still to hot to do anything outdoors, man when if fall going to get here??I have been reading your blogs and enjoying all the beautiful pictures..keep them coming. And I have been stitching yeahhhh..I should find out my results Monday and the doctor said that she would call if it was cancer and she hasn't called yet so I am taking that as a no to being cancer..I have started my walking/jogging regiment again and I am back on my lowcarb way of eating with this stupid menopause I have gain weight really quickly..so hopefully I can lose this weight..well I hope you all are having a good and productive week,,and here is what I have been working on and I new project I really really want to start...till next time huggs

A New Project and a Finish..

Hello all my friends..hope you all are doing good on this Thursday..well my little fingers have been zipping along for the last 2 days,,I finished up Trix or Treat by BBD and it was another fun stitch..I changed some of the colors as I didn't have all the recommended ones..this one will be made into a pillow..and for my new project I thought I better get moving on Christmas presents,,this one is for my grandson Anthony..I made his a cowboy quilt and pillowcase so I thought this would go perfect with it..well I hope you enjoy the pictures and till next time,,keep those fingers moving..huggs

I am still here,,,

Happy Hump day everyone,,well Max is off to school and I have a couple of quiet hours to myself..yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh..well I am going to start off asking for prayers,,I went into they GYN doctor monday and she found 2 spots on my cervix,,and right away did a biopsy on both,,I go back in 2 weeks for a follow up,,she said she would call if they turned out to be cancer,,so I am praying I dont get a phone call..It is in Gods hands and so I will let it stay there,,now on to my fun stuff,,Max started Pre-School Monday and loves it,,he will be going M,W,F,,which means I will get some me time on those days,,to do some of this stuff,,stitching and sewing and hopefully getting back into my walking..I am one that cant wait for fall..come on cooler weather,,well hope you enjoy the pictures,,its another halloween one I am working on..take care,,

 

Well Lets Hope..

This coming week is a hell of alot better then this past week,,I have never had such a bad week in my life before..and I know I will get over it but really..first my good and long time friend Tina passed away of a septic infection she got from her chemo port,,after just 1 chemo treatment,,and she happen to pass away on her 49 birthday,,we where all ready to help her fight the breast cancer she had,,and then on Monday I go in for my yearly and the first thing my doctor says is there is a blood vessel on our cervix that wasn't there last time,,oh great now I have been worrying about that all week till I get my results back and she want me to go see an gyn as soon as they come in,,and I have been having tingling in my hands and feet and she also wants me to have a mri which I am putting on hold till all this freaking cervix thing is sorted out..and to top it off my neighbor which we have become really close moved up to DC Wednesday,,and now I am battling a sinus infection all weekend, my head feels like it is going to explode and my nose wont quit running,,I am sorry for ranting and raving but I have had it this past week and I just want to feel better..if you are still reading this you deserve a gold medal..well I have been doing some knitting and stitching, so that has been good..just wish I had more motivation..well I will let you go for now,,I have added some new little sayings to my side board,,the friends one is for Tina,,and starting today I am going to choose joy no matter what the out come of my cervix issue is..so until next time,,take care and keep crafting,,

Jolly Thursday...

Good morning everyone,,hope this Thursday finds you all happy and well.  Well as you can see my little Jolly Jack is done, and I am a bit sad.  As he was a real fun stitch to stitch..I love all the colors and well he is just so jolly..so to pass the jolliness on I am going to be sending this pattern to another jolly person to stitch, but wait there is more..in order to receive this jolly pattern you must-stitch the pattern and then pass it onto a new jolly person..I would love to see how many jolly friends we can stitch before Oct 31st..

Updates...

Hello,,well here are some updates,,for you all to enjoy. I am enjoying stitching Jolly Jack, he is such a fun one to stitch. I did this stitching over the weekend, didn't get a chance to stitch yesterday. And I finished another Shepherds Bush ornament, I love these, but whats not to love about Shepherds Bush..well I hope you all are staying cool, I am so ready for fall to get here, and cool weather..till next time keep stitching and staying cool.

A New Project...

Hello all,,
I just want to start by saying THANK YOU,,for all the sweet comments on my scarf they mean alot to me,,and to my new followers.
I am up to not much,,to hot to do anything outside,,and don't fell like doing housework(but who does)..so I will starting a new project..and a jolly one at that,,saw this stitched in my LNS and fell in love with it,,so I ordered the fabric&threads and they came in today..I also have another ornament finished will post pic tomorrow..till then hope you all are staying cool..

Another Week begins...

Hello,,
I first want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all my new followers and all the beautiful comments you all leave on my blog, it really makes my heart jump to come here and see you all visit and leave such beautiful comments..sometimes we take life for granted and it ends up being way to short..this past week has been an eye opener for me,,a very good friend found out she has a aggressive breast cancer and will start her chemo this Wednesday so if you could please say a prayer for her, also our very own Pumpkin Patch is going thru another hard time with her cancer so please keep her in your prayers,,and then the shooting in Aurora Colorado such tragedy,,my prayers goes out to the victims and their loved ones..such a senseless act of evil..I for one will never understand it..well I have been busy trying to keep my mind busy so here are the pictures to prove it,,I am back to knitting and it was a good thing to work on while yesterday my husband and I sat and watch The Immortals and then Braveheart..well I hope you all have a very blessed week,,and make sure you tell your loved ones that you you love them and give them a hug..till next time..sending hugs from sunny Florida

First up is a scarf I am really enjoying knitting,,I am in love with this yarn,,it is by lion brand there amazing line,,violet is the colorway and I love the colors,,the pattern is called one row scarf I found on Ravelry..this one is for little ole me..

and the next picture is my updated of Good Ships by Carriage House Sampling,,not much but it is something

and here is my progress on my granny strip blanket,,it is about half way done..and I am really enjoying stitching this,,I also started stitching a shepherds ornament will post a picture when it is done,,

I am hooked...

    I have been doing nothing but crocheting today,,I will get up and piddle around but within 10 minutes I am right back down in my chair putting another row or 2 in the new stripe blanket..believe me I have alot of other things I should be doing, but I am so hooked on this blanket ..I don't know why I didn't make a stripe granny before, it is so easy..and the really bad thing is as I sit here in my own little world I am thinking of many and I mean many other projects I could make with this one simple pattern. as you see in the pictures I finished the main crocheting on my purple one,,and that is a love at first site also..I just have to weave in the ends(yuck)and crochet a boarder around it..on both blankets I am using I love this yarn by hobby lobby..and last but not least a picture of my one rose bush,,isn't she pretty..well there you girls have it,,not much else happening around here today,,think I will go and crochet me some..hope you all are having a very productive day..

She is all done,,and I must say I really really enjoyed stitching her,,if you would like to stitch her Em li's still has the pattern on her site, her link is in my sidebar under favorite shops.. 
The second picture is another finish this past week, it is a Blackbird stocking one Violets another quick stitch..
And last but not least this is my now working in progress, it is Good Ships by Carriage House Sampling. I have also been working on my afghan got all the main afghan done and now I am threading in the ends and then the boarder..so I hope you all are having an productive week so far..

Well I hope this post finds you all staying cool, the rain has gone and the sun is shining..so me and my grandson max went to the beach today..besides a couple of mishaps we had a good time,,I could not get him out of the water and by 2 he was ready to go home..well I hope you all have a fun and sunny weekend,,till next time..

Hello,
Where did the weekend go??I am hoping you all had a fabulous weekend,,mine was quiet, just the way I like it..I finished up 2 smalls and for being smalls they sure seem to take forever..I also finished reading a Teresa Mederios book called The Pleasure of your Kiss and it was good,,I love her historical romance books..I also started a new author for me the book is called The Cottage by the Sea by Ciji Ware and I am into about 100 pages of it and so far I really like it..well it is back to the daily chores today and I am hoping for some sunny weather this week as I would love to go to the beach for a day..well here are pics of the smalls hope you all have a awesome week,,till next time.

I know I know..

You are suppose to make Plum Pudding at Christmas time,,but when I walked into the grocery store and saw these beautiful big plump plums,,I just couldn't walk right past,,and as I was looking up some British recipes I came across this lovely Sugared Plum Pudding one and well the rest is history..I am surprise how easy it was to make,,and man I wish there was a smell button on here because my house smells so good..well I hope you all are having an awesome day,,and well chat again soon,,I am off to have me some plum pudding...till next time.

Afternoon Tea..

Well I was suppose to have afternoon tea at my neighbors house, I was telling her that I was going to make these strawberry and orange scones and she suggested that we have an afternoon tea..so I made these beautiful scones and was already to take them over there and then it happen,,a major down pour ruined it for us..but there is always another day, sounds like a good excuse to make them again..like I needed an excuse to make scones..well here is a picture of how they look,,and a cup of my favorite tea Lady Earl Grey..well I hope it is not raining where ever you are..

Yeah,,the sun is shining in the sunshine state again,,it has rained for the last 3 weeks here and it is getting down right depressing...so since the sun was happy today I thought I would put a little pep in my step and put out my sparsely patriotic decorations..this is my table in the entrance way by the front door..I will be running to Hobby Lobby and getting more pretties..in the second picture, the pictures on the wall are me and my husband in front of our roses in AZ,,seem to be the only thing we can grow there,,and below us is my mother at my younger brothers wedding like 23 years ago, she was know as the lady in the hat, she is from England and I think her British comes out in this picture(she borrowed the hat from a aunt that lived in England just for the wedding),and the big picture is a Paula Vaughn print and then my updated pictures of Marys Best,,I am still enjoying stitching this one,,I got some goodies this past week and that will be the next post..until then I pray that the sun is shining where you are and the there is a pep in your step today,,

Good Morning Monday,,

I am really hoping this week brings on lots of accomplishments..and sunshine.  Yesterday was a nice relaxing day, I sat outside and listen to the birds sing, and I got a treat of seeing a monarch butterfly,a cardinal,a blue jay and a cute little grey squirrel.  I got some more stitching done on Mary's Best and I am really enjoying working on it.
I finally met some other stitchers, you don't know how excited I was to find a stitching group here in my neck of the woods, it pays to comment on other peoples blogs in your area..thank you Melody..and I found a EGA group to join also, so overall it was a very good weekend..

Guess who turns 4 years old today...

Today is my grandson Max's 4th birthday. Where has the time gone,,it seems to fly by with kids growing up to fast..he has had a busy weekend with birthdays,,he went to a birthday party on Friday at the pool and then another birthday party today at the pool then we are having a little family party for him tonight and then next Saturday is his party at Chuck E Cheese..so here is to your 4th Birthday Max,,hope you have a wonderful and fun day..love you bunches..
