Big Talbot Island

I took a drive there today, it was chilly and overcast but the beach was deserted and beautiful, I really love living in Florida. The driftwood was amazing..hope you all are having a wonderful and relaxing weekend.

Thank you so much for taking us on your trip with you. My DD is going to Florida on Friday - she and her boyfriend are going to Harry Potter World in Orlando as the first leg of their U.S. holdiay. They are both very excited.

Devon - Jody and I spent so many years of our youth out on Talbot and across the inlet at the Jettys. It was a big surf spot when we were young. Actually one of the first times I remember seeing Jody as an adult all grown up - he was pulling me and my then boyfriend out of the sand - he had a big black 4wheeldrive truck and was with my cousin cruising the beach. Times have changed but thankfully Talbot is preserved for all the see and enjoy - glad you visited there. You'll have to visit the BEAKS bird sanctuary sometime on Talbot. Cheers ! Mel

How pretty and sculptural! Our family always went to Little Talbot Island for our beach of choice. Brings back memories.

Thank you for sharing your photos. I enjoy walking along the shore line, you never know what you will find washed up.

I've been to this beach..it's awesome. North Florida has some of the most beautiful places...if you find yourself down towards Palm Coast on A1A stop in at Washington Oaks State Park, it's awesome.
