Updates...

Hello,,well here are some updates,,for you all to enjoy. I am enjoying stitching Jolly Jack, he is such a fun one to stitch. I did this stitching over the weekend, didn't get a chance to stitch yesterday. And I finished another Shepherds Bush ornament, I love these, but whats not to love about Shepherds Bush..well I hope you all are staying cool, I am so ready for fall to get here, and cool weather..till next time keep stitching and staying cool.

A New Project...

Hello all,,
I just want to start by saying THANK YOU,,for all the sweet comments on my scarf they mean alot to me,,and to my new followers.
I am up to not much,,to hot to do anything outside,,and don't fell like doing housework(but who does)..so I will starting a new project..and a jolly one at that,,saw this stitched in my LNS and fell in love with it,,so I ordered the fabric&threads and they came in today..I also have another ornament finished will post pic tomorrow..till then hope you all are staying cool..

Another Week begins...

Hello,,
I first want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all my new followers and all the beautiful comments you all leave on my blog, it really makes my heart jump to come here and see you all visit and leave such beautiful comments..sometimes we take life for granted and it ends up being way to short..this past week has been an eye opener for me,,a very good friend found out she has a aggressive breast cancer and will start her chemo this Wednesday so if you could please say a prayer for her, also our very own Pumpkin Patch is going thru another hard time with her cancer so please keep her in your prayers,,and then the shooting in Aurora Colorado such tragedy,,my prayers goes out to the victims and their loved ones..such a senseless act of evil..I for one will never understand it..well I have been busy trying to keep my mind busy so here are the pictures to prove it,,I am back to knitting and it was a good thing to work on while yesterday my husband and I sat and watch The Immortals and then Braveheart..well I hope you all have a very blessed week,,and make sure you tell your loved ones that you you love them and give them a hug..till next time..sending hugs from sunny Florida

First up is a scarf I am really enjoying knitting,,I am in love with this yarn,,it is by lion brand there amazing line,,violet is the colorway and I love the colors,,the pattern is called one row scarf I found on Ravelry..this one is for little ole me..

and the next picture is my updated of Good Ships by Carriage House Sampling,,not much but it is something

and here is my progress on my granny strip blanket,,it is about half way done..and I am really enjoying stitching this,,I also started stitching a shepherds ornament will post a picture when it is done,,

I am hooked...

    I have been doing nothing but crocheting today,,I will get up and piddle around but within 10 minutes I am right back down in my chair putting another row or 2 in the new stripe blanket..believe me I have alot of other things I should be doing, but I am so hooked on this blanket ..I don't know why I didn't make a stripe granny before, it is so easy..and the really bad thing is as I sit here in my own little world I am thinking of many and I mean many other projects I could make with this one simple pattern. as you see in the pictures I finished the main crocheting on my purple one,,and that is a love at first site also..I just have to weave in the ends(yuck)and crochet a boarder around it..on both blankets I am using I love this yarn by hobby lobby..and last but not least a picture of my one rose bush,,isn't she pretty..well there you girls have it,,not much else happening around here today,,think I will go and crochet me some..hope you all are having a very productive day..

She is done....

She is all done,,and I must say I really really enjoyed stitching her,,if you would like to stitch her Em li's still has the pattern on her site, her link is in my sidebar under favorite shops.. 
The second picture is another finish this past week, it is a Blackbird stocking one Violets another quick stitch..
And last but not least this is my now working in progress, it is Good Ships by Carriage House Sampling. I have also been working on my afghan got all the main afghan done and now I am threading in the ends and then the boarder..so I hope you all are having an productive week so far..

Finally this little baby is finish,,and I have to tell you I love stitching it,,such a sweet sampler..I have also been working on my African Violet blanket and will post pictures in the next couple of days,,hope you all have a fabulous 4th of July,,till next time.
