It is past my bedtime,,,

It is 1135pm and here I am typing a post on my blog,,,I should be in bed as I have to get up at 630am for work,,,oh well I had to finished reading my book,,,and I know I am not the only one that stays up late to do that now am I???I just finished reading Vision in White by Nora Roberts and let me tell you that was the sweetest quirkiest love stories I have read in a long time,,it was just a really cute and funny love story and I had the best time reading it. I highly recommend reading it and it is a trilogy and the next installment is due out this coming December and I cant wait...I love Nora Roberts writing and have not read anything I didnt or would'nt recommend reading of her's...

Up next on the reading is Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier this one comes highly recommended by my manager at work,,and a guy customer is the synopis

With these words, the reader is ushered into an isolated gray stone mansion on the windswept Cornish coast, as the second Mrs. Maxim de Winter recalls the chilling events that transpired as she began her new life as the young bride of a husband she barely knew. For in every corner of every room were phantoms of a time dead but not forgotten—a past devotedly preserved by the sinister housekeeper, Mrs. Danvers: a suite immaculate and untouched, clothing laid out and ready to be worn, but not by any of the great house's current occupants. With an eerie presentiment of evil tightening her heart, the second Mrs. de Winter walked in the shadow of her mysterious predecessor, determined to uncover the darkest secrets and shattering truths about Maxim's first wife—the late and hauntingly beautiful Rebecca.
I will be reviewing this one to when I have finished with it,,also if any of you have read it and would leave a comment that would make my day,,,

There has been some stitching going on, I just haven't taken any picutres of it so that will be up next on my list..till then keep those pages turning and the needles flying have a wonder day..

Everlasting by Kathleen E Woodwiss..I just finished this book and it is one of the best historical romance I have read in a long time..of course since I have been reading my stitching is sitting in the corner pouting...but I would recommend this book, it is not a bodice ripping book but a nice romance..up next on the reading table is Visions in White by Nora Roberts it is the first in a triology..I have read many of Nora Roberts books both stand alone and her triologys and have not been dissapointed in any...

here is the Snyopsis of the book:

#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts cordially invites you to meet childhood friends Parker, Emma, Laurel, and Mac - the founders of Vows, one of Connecticut's premier wedding planning companies. After years of throwing make-believe weddings in the backyard, flowers, photography, desserts, and details are what these women do best: a guaranteed perfect, beautiful day full of memories to last the rest of your life. With bridal magazine covers to her credit, Mackensie "Mac" Elliot is most at home behind the camera - ready to capture the happy moments she never experienced while growing up. Her father replaced his first family with a second, and now her mother, moving on to yet another man, begs Mac for attention and money. Mac's foundation is jostled again moments before an important wedding planning meeting when she bumps into the bride-to-be's encounter that has them both seeing stars.Carter Maguire is definitely not her type: he's stable, and he's safe. He's even an English teacher at their high school alma mater. There's something about him that makes Mac think a casual fling is just what she needs to take her mind off dealing with bride-zillas and screening her mother's phone calls. But a casual fling can turn into something more when you least expect it. And with the help of her three best friends - and business partners - Mac must learn how to make her own happy memories...

Well it is work today so off I must go and get ready...if you have read either of these books or would love to recommend on please feel free to leave a comment,,I would just love that...until next time keep the pages turning and the needles flying...

I just finished reading Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress, I liked it alot. Story of 3 youths in the mountains of China during the re-educations and what kept them going...a short read but one you cant put down..

Up next on the reading table will be Everlasting by Kathleen Woodiwiss, a historical romance.

Historical romance was born when Kathleen E. Woodiwiss gifted the world with the groundbreaking The Flame and the Flower. Now, twelve New York Times bestsellers later, "The first lady of the genre" (Publishers Weekly) returns with her most breathtaking masterwork—a glorious celebration of a secret love that is dangerous, irresistible, forbidden, and . . . Everlasting
Handsome and kind—a black-haired Scotsman with vivid blue eyes—Raven Seabern is an emissary for his king, and unlike any man Abrielle has ever encountered. From the moment their eyes meet, he intrigues and mesmerizes her—and dancing in his arms at a royal banquet leaves her weak with the desire to surrender. But their love can never be, for Abrielle is betrothed to a "monster." And the well-being of everyone she cares for demands that she honor her promise.
Still, the fire lit that night will not be doused. Raven knows he has found the true one and must never let her go—though secrets, deceptions, dishonor, and unimaginable peril will surely be their fate if they follow the dictates of their hearts.
If you have read this book I would love to hear from you about it...that would make my day,,,till next time have a great day..

There the two friends meet the daughter of the local tailor and discover a hidden stash of Western classics in Chinese translation.
